Four NORTH STYLE Supervisors lied to me.

I ordered a shirt in a L size according to their size chart. When it arrived it was marked L but was a SMALL. I phoned 6 times and spoke to a SUPERVISOR 4 times. Each told me they would call me back after they measured a different L shirt to see if they were all Small. They wanted me to mail it back for an exchange. HOW? I didn't know what size to order. So I was supposed to spend another $10. to mail it back and another $10. to ship something when I had no idea if would fit. That is now $30.in postage. Not one of them EVER called back with sizing help. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. I SPREAD THE WORD ON FACEBOOK! They will do NOTHING to help you!!!

I just discovered that I've been paying the $12.97 monthly fee to belong to the "CLUB" since February 2013. Obviously I have not used the "CLUB" because they didn't have my current address (I moved in 2013) on file.

After asking to speak to Supervisor after Supervisor they agreed to refund 6 months of the 2014 charges. The last Supervisor told me she didn't have a Supervisor. Everyone has a supervisor ... I will be on this like a dog on a bone for however long it takes.

I want at least 2014 charges refunded to me.

Last Supervisor told me it is a non-refundable charge.

There is no such thing as a non-refundable charge!

As an addendum...just checked my credit card and BOTH charges are pending!!! just called my cc company and they told me that they would fight fior me IF I am actually charged.

NEVER got a confirmation as I never got past the GD "VIP OFFER" screen.

This company REALLY does suck! :(

Just did the same thing!!! Found a dress that LOVED for my nephew's wedding in July.

I wanted to order early because I am in between sizes and wanted to make sure it would fit properly. After 2 attempts to order and being required to joining this ridiculous "club" I have decided that NO dress is worth the extortion!

I just hope that somehow they are not going to try to fulfill this order and charge me! I say "BS"

Shipping promises not honored and refund missing

First, I paid $12 extra to have a shipment expedited according to the website's shipping schedule. When it didn't arrive on time I called and had to READ the website to the rep who tried to argue that I was misreading shipping schedule. Also had to fight for refund of the extra shipping charges, which have yet to appear on credit card. Have now returned part of my order. The return was confirmed 6 weeks ago but NO REFUND has shown on my credit card and I get NO response from customer no-service. Still waiting for that refund. Will never buy from NorthStyle again.

Overpriced/SLOW/Bad Customer Service

Granted, it has only been ten days since I returned most of the items I ordered (apparently size doesn't mean anything to them), I called to see when my account would be credited. Was told it takes 4-6 weeks for processing. Seriously?? In the meantime I'm making payments to my financial institution for a purchase I can't get a refund on? Customer service person, Sandy, rude. I will stick to companies who credit my account when the items arrive. I will not order from NorthStyle again. They are overpriced to begin with, and they are not true to size. I had to pay my own shipping to return the items. Who knows when they will credit my account.

I've requested a catalog from them several times for over a year and never received one. When I would call with an inquiry regarding size I received very rude customer service.

Now, upon reading all these complaints, glad I never ordered, nor shall I order ever from NorthStyle. :x

I would say that is a wise decision. I won't order from them again.

When I order from a company who has good policies, I am very much of a repeat customer.

Clearly NorthStyle doesn't fit that category.

A Long Wait for a Nice Product

Ordered on June 22, 2013. Immediate charge to credit card, but did not show up on actual statement. Notified of back-order within a few days. Item was to be shipped on July 20, 2013. Requested of status on July 22, 2013. I received standard letter stating delivery within 30 days and did I still want the item. Shipped on August 6, 2013 and official charge to credit card. Received on August 12, 2013. I like the summer item very much and love their catalog, but I will not order again until Northstyle has a presence on Facebook and Twitter.

Customer Service could not answer ?

I called with a question re: coupon being offered (10%off and free shipping). Which I was not receiving on my order. The rep. said she could not anser my ? and would transfer me to a supervisor. The phone rang 286 times, yes 286 times. and no one picked up. When I called back, the rep said in order to rec. the discount nad free shipping I need to join the VIP club at a cost 13.00 a month. That information should be spelled out in their coupon area. Total misrepresentation on the compnay's part. I am so disappointed in the company.

Rec'd stained item and paid $15.00 to try it on!

At NorthStyle I ordered a $40 shirt and rec'd a shirt paying 8.50 for shipping and handling. It had a large stain on the front. Paid 4.97 to return the item and only rec'd the cost of the shirt for a refund. It cost me $13.50 plus gas and time to try on a shirt that I rec'd dirty. Contacted them but no response. of course. will not purchase from them again. Thinking this would constitute a FULL refund but no responsibility take by them..So no more purchases from me. They are associated with other company's so watch who you purchase from!

With this many actual negative comments, I I'll take my Time and money elsewhere. There are too many nice places that have many more deals and coupons on the web than at this placd, a total of 3 with 10% off. some coupon,ha? professionalism dosent tak :upset e much if you want lifetime customers. I shop on hue. Web almost 100%. its à shame I will/bypass this company for sure! Nine items in two months or less

I ordered several items from the latest catalogue. Several of the items came after a couple of weeks! I have never had to wait on an online order for that length of time. Decided that I would not order from North Style again after I got the rest of the order. So now, almost two months later, the last item has finally arrived. I failed to check on return policy so paid to return items that I bought in two different sizes. I will eat this expense. Although I liked the items that I kept, I will never order from North Style again.

Special offer doesn't exist

I ordered a sweater from NorthStyle, joined the VIP club to get 10% off and free shipping. Four months later, I have received neither one after several attempts to contact them. Don"t buy anything from NorthStyle. I'm retired, so I have ample time to annoy them frequently to try to get their advertised "Special Offer" . Don"t be fooled. Whenever you send them emails, you get an automated response that they will reply within one business day. Ha ha. No they won't. I wish I has googled northstyle scam prior to ordering from them. It would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.

Returned items and never received replacement

I returned some items that I purchased in May but after several emails have still not received my replacement items...only a response saying that my return has not been received but that doesn't it is not there...wtf...Still emailing them and still waiting for my returns which total about $100 in merchandise...will never order form this company again...how can this company still be in business after such blatant policies of fleecing customers?...will follow up and seek remedy with state authorities to recover my loss...hope that other will not be duped by these false promises of this company

I use to work for a company that dealt with the catalog orders from NorthStyle, the Pyramid Collection, Potporri, ect. And normally they just tell the customer reps to tell the customer, should there be any problems with the product, that they could return the item at any time as long as they paid the shipping.

I can tell you that I have never heard of a customer successfully returning a product, but then again I wasnt with the company for very long. Best thing I can tell you is if you shipped the item out, keep track with the item tracking number, and if they refuse to acknowledge what your shipping company has provided, take this instance as far as you can with it, and make an example of these corrupt corporate companies.

Paid for item and never received it

I ordered some clothing. They charged my debit card. They changed my order without communicating with me or refunding any of my money. They dropped off one item and put item cancelled by another item - as if I had cancelled the item. I have tried to communicate with them over and over again. Their website says they will get back in 24 hours. They never got back with me. I still have not received a refund. I am going to my bank to get my money back and reporting them to the Attorney General in my state and in their state of MA... Massachusetts. If you have problems, report them to the Attorney General.

Northstyle

I placed another order today. After the previous order, I received an email giving me a 15 percent discount on my next order. I did not read it thoroughly. I went back to emails only to find it had expired. Typically, other retailers give you a discount on your next order. Anyway, the order taker was abrupt and unpleasant about my questions. This annoyed me and as I had already given my CC info and the items were ordered, I asked her to place the order to get off the phone. She continued to make offers and I finally said "good bye". Apparently, she never placed the order. You call that "Customer Service"?

Fraud

I made a purchase on the Northstyle website, and at checkout, I was given the opportunity to sign up for VIP service in order to receive a rebate on my shipping charges. I signed up and all I was told I had to do is cancel in 30 days if I did not want to be billed for the service. I did cancel, approximately 28 days later via phone. I inquired as to why I had not seen the credit for my shipping charges on my credit card statement and she told me I had to go online to "claim" it. I proceeded to do so and it would not let me do it. I called her back and she said she would look into it and have someone call me back. No one called. Three phone calls later, made by me to Northstyle, talking to a different person each time, promising me that someone would return my call to resolve this matter and no one ever did. The last person I spoke with was Abbey, who refused to do anything about the matter because I did not "claim" my rebate before I canceled the VIP service. Nowhere does it state that I need to "claim" the rebate or that I need to do it before I cancel. This is fraud. Abbey insisted that my receipt and welcome letter to the service both state that I need to "claim" the rebate. I have both of those documents right in front of me, and unless it is written in invisible ink, that statement simply does not exist. I feel that this is a scam by luring people into signing up for this service by offering the rebate, but not giving instructions as to how to receive the rebate. I feel that Northstyle is hoping people will sign up and forget to cancel and then will be billed the monthly service fees for this VIP service. Not only did I not receive my rebate, but I received very poor customer service by people who said they would return my calls, but didn't, and just sheer rudeness. I will never shop at Northstyle again. There are plenty of other businesses out there who will treat me like a valued customer and Northstyle is not one of them. If you are considering shopping from Northstyle, I urge you to go elsewhere. They don't care about their customers!

Started to order, but noticed that they did not reveal details of VIP program until after check out, so I researched further . .

. wanted to use the free shipping code; however, you pay MONTHLY for the VIP program as welll as for shipping. Back to ZAPPOS go all my shopping dollars!!!! Wanted that outfit, but no enough to be scammed.

There are too many good companies out there who value your business! To North Style - reveal details up front!

this worries me as I signed up for the same thing, being told i could save $25. Meanwhile, the pants I just receive, which were supposed to be size 8, were HUGE, so I have to send them back - an expensive mistake, given their hefty shipping charge.

I was also told I was going to receive claim info for my rebate with the pants, which was not the case.

Buyer beware!

DON'T BUY NORTHSTYLE!!!!

After one week of waiting for status of $200 shipment, no update, but numerous emails about items I might like etc, I called. Their excuse? THEY SHUT DOWN FOR A WEEK FOR INVENTORY. They never responded to email inquiries. They are getting reported to BBB, Attorney General for scam. Nice looking stuff in catalogs, but you will pay and not receive anytime soon, if at all. I order from many online businesses, and never had this type of experience. If it is backordered, I understand. But all items were ordered in stock, confirmation email right away, but then nothing. PISSED CONSUMER
